Market Research

Since the online questionnaire was created there has been 50 people that have filled out the survey. It is a fairly high number to be able to know that the information is reliable and helpful. My group and I will need to create our opening credits and the film. There will be the results below to show an idea of what different genres people are interested in. Also there will be a basic bar chart of the results to show it simplistically.

As you can quite clearly see from the results on the gender question, more males have filled out the survey therefore this might suggest that males are more interested in this topic of movies than females are.

In the next question you can see that the teenagers who have filled out the survey are mainly 16/17 years old. Where we can see that the lowest number in the years was around 14. 

In this result we can see clearly that the people are mostly interested in Thriller genre and then Action or comedy. This suggests to us that my group and I should do Thriller movie with a mixture of action. However the results may vary depending if more people have filled out the survey

In the next section of results, the results are not applicable and I cannot gain any information from it because the comments are from different genres therefore this result is inaccurate. Next time I am going to make a more complex survey to be able to read the comments from each genre correctly. 

In this result we can see that the number of different types of ways of watching movies is very similar. However the highest number of people have chosen DVD and then On-line streaming like (netflix, blink box and etc.) 



In this result we can see clearly that people prefer a film to be set in present time rather than in future or past. This suggests to my group and I that we should see our movie in the present time.

Results of the Online Survey (Psychographic)


I have also collected the results after 50 people have filled out the survey. These results provide me the information to know what type of music we should put in our movie, what cloths we should use and etc.

In the second survey we can see that there is a much higher percentage of boys that have filled out the survey

In the other survey I have used a age difference with 12 - 18 years old where this survey is more available for a wider range of class of people 

Here we can see that the people filling out the survey have chosen Business managing as the most chosen career

This result lets us asses what type of clothes we can wear in the movie from the feedbacks from 50 users

In this result the highest common music genre is other. Its not very specific to us therefore we would have to look at a specific genre like pop or rock.

Overall you can gain a decent understanding of the what types of films people like, what they are into and how old the different people are in this study are.
